Charles Puchta (pronounced Puck-ta), a Certified Senior Advisor, is an award-winning author and nationally acclaimed authority and speaker on the subject of aging and caregiving. He has dedicated his life to developing information and designing interventions to help families and professionals deal with the many caregiving challenges brought about by aging, illness or injury. Puchta’s distinctive gift is his ability to take complex subject matter, distill it and communicate it in a way that makes sense to the audience.

Puchta has been called the Paul Harvey of aging, as his ‘Big Picture’ approach to caregiving helps people realize “the rest of the story .” His unique approach helps families identify, anticipate and address the predominate issues they are likely to encounter as loved ones age. He groups information into four categories and demonstrates how the pieces fit together to help people make informed decisions to enhance health and quality of life.

Puchta is Founder and Principal of Aging America Resources and is Director of the Center for Aging with Dignity at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing. He has an undergraduate degree in Communications from Bradley University (Peoria , IL ) and an MBA from Xavier University (Cincinnati , OH ). Puchta is currently pursing an advanced degree in Health Education and Promotion at the University of Cincinnati.


Aging America Resources (www.AgingUSA.com) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people become familiar and deal with aging, caregiving and long-term care issues. Simply stated our mission is Making Care Easier tm by helping caregivers and professional advisors  develop the knowledge they need to make a difference in the lives of the aging and chronically ill.  


As a Care Ministry ( www.CareMinistry.com) we are dedicated to  reinforcing biblical caregiving principles and encouraging people to care for one another. We offer books, small group resources, and other educational materials to support individuals and church-based care ministry programs. 


The Center for Aging with Dignity (www.CareAdvocate.com) at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing is dedicated to helping people anticipate, understand and address life-changing health issues. Our mission is to convey health-related information focusing on the key issues individuals, families, and health care professionals face due to aging and chronic illness, and emphasizing genuine caring for each individual’s interests and well-being. We accomplish our mission by:
